Alyssa Almeida Duncan Photography is bringing out the ORIGINAL, INSPIRED, and FEARLESS in our youth.
For the month of April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Alyssa Almeida Duncan Photography is donating all of her session fees to HAVEN. For each session booked, Alyssa is also donating a photography session to a youth at risk. Alyssa Almeida Duncan Photography is making it their goal to help kids focus on POSITIVE aspects of themselves as they enter middle school and transition into high school. It is her goal to show them their inner strength, and to celebrate it!
Alyssa recently expanded her focus to the tween age, and says, “We photograph a lot when they’re babies and young kids, but the tween years get forgotten. It’s a tough time, but also such a cool time. I want them to go into middle school seeing their strengths and not conforming to what they think is the norm.”
Parents are sent a questionnaire to fill out about their child, and they can also gather comments from teachers, coaches, and family members. This is an exciting piece for the child because when they come to see their finished portraits, they are surprised with unique and moving quotes from loved ones integrated into the photos. “Seeing the strengths that other people see within them,” says Alyssa, “gives them the strength to get through some things that may be difficult and help encourage originality and fearlessness to go out there and aim high.”
Original, Inspired, Fearless 2 is a program that is based off of my high school senior project that has helped so many of our local young women feel a sense of belonging, empowerment, value and inner and outer beauty. Don’t wait and book your session today!
